On Thursday, October 15th, Strategy Asset Managers, LLC.’s Investment Team shared their analysis of the key factors that influenced financial markets during the third quarter of 2026 and their expectations for the months ahead.
Our 3rd Quarter 2026 Market Update examines the strength of corporate earnings, now on pace for a third consecutive year of double-digit growth, the continued role of artificial intelligence as the dominant driver of that growth, and the impact of rising interest rates following the Federal Reserve’s first rate hike since 2023.
Despite potential headwinds such as higher rates, stress in commercial real estate, elevated oil prices, and midterm election uncertainty, we remain optimistic about growth prospects, anchored by strong fundamentals, attractive bond yields, and a broadening of earnings beyond the Magnificent 7. We continue to emphasize the importance of active management and a focus on high-quality companies in navigating the evolving economic landscape.

Morningstar ratings are based on risk-adjusted returns and are subject to change monthly; ratings shown reflect the most recent available data and may differ by share class or time period. The Morningstar Rating is calculated on a quarterly basis for separate accounts with at least a three-year history. It is calculated based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a separate account’s monthly performance, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of separate accounts in each category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a separate account is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five- and 10-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. Morningstar will not calculate ratings for categories or time periods that contain fewer than five separate accounts.
